City of Harrisonburg
I had the opportunity to work with the City of Harrrisonburg through a referral from The Virginia State Tourism board with whom I have collaborated extensively. The assignment was to showcase the best of Harrisonburg at 9 locations in order to create a library of images to be used for future marketing and advertising campaigns. Working with my assistant and a crew of 3 Harrisonburg employees, plus subject models, we covered the best of Harrisonburg.
If you know the area, this involved a variety of terrains and multiple long distance hikes with heavy equipment in order to capture the area. All of our planning meetings, early morning and late night photo shoots, and sweaty hikes paid off. The City of Harrisonburg was thrilled with the images and I continue to see my work promoting tourism in Harrisonburg and Virginia statewide campaigns.
